Forcing us to buy what we do not want and cannot afford does not align with the principles that America was founded on. This is a step backward for democracy. Real reform would be a choice of affordable plans available to everyone. Beverlys story emphasizes her past responsibility and how she has been penalized for it, and how it is only going to get worse for her and us.
