Is acai berry juice safe for breastfeeding women?

Posted by admin on December 11th, 2009 and filed under acai juice | 1 Comment »

I recently ordered some acai berry juice and my breastfeeding wife is curious if she can take it as well? Does it pose a danger to my newborn?

This is a quote:
"There are hardly any studies regarding the role of supplements and their safety or benefit during breastfeeding. We have no reason to suspect that reasonable amount of acai juice drinking or taking an occasional acai supplement would influence a breastfed baby. However, we have not seen any studies regarding the influence of acai use by the mother on the breastfed baby."

Is a serving of Acai juice equivalent to a days worth of veggie/fruit servings?

Only answer this if you know what Acai is.

I know alot about acai and I can tell you this: many acai juices are not very potent. They are watered down, sugar filled, and often contain additional fruits other than acai. Usually you can look on the nutrition label to see just how much of each vitamin and mineral you are ingesting with each serving. Typically I would say that one serving of juice probably gives you 50% or so of what you might need in a day.

I recommend investing in a 100% pure acai supplement rather than a juice. You can get a free trial of the #1 acai pill on the planet, Extreme Acai, at the source link below. This is the product I use, and honestly I feel better every day.

Now let me tell you why I recommend Extreme Acai over all other acai supplements…

Firstly, Extreme Acai is a 100% acai capsule (pill) type supplement. Capsules are superior to juices, cleansers, and detoxifiers. Juices are diluted and are filled with sugar, cleansers and detox supplements tend to promote abdominal discomfort, and they are all way overpriced. Most likely you will only find sugar filled acai juice supplements at your local GNC.

I attempted this past weekend to find a good acai supplement at GNC, Vitamin World, Hannafords, and Shaws, but I was unable to find something that was cheap, high quality, and not filled with sugar and other fillers. I am going to keep getting Extreme Acai for now.

Secondly, Extreme Acai ranks in the top 3, usually at #1, of all acai supplements in most acai product polls that I’ve found online.

Remember, just stick with a regular 100% acai supplement in capsule form like Extreme Acai. You can try the free trial at the source link below.

acai juice (Deep Purple color) with pulp..normal to have "dark red in the toilet?"?

Posted by admin on December 4th, 2009 and filed under acai juice | 1 Comment »

I’ve had 3 days of acai juice with pulp in recommended doses.
The berry is VERY dark red, and so is my stool, with water surrounding it also red, which looks scary.
Is this usual?

Blood in your stool if it comes from your upper stomach will be black and from your lower stomach will be bright red. Sounds to me that the acai juice is causing you to have colored loose stool. My best advice would be to stop the juice and see what color your stool changes back to.

Is Acai Juice just as good as any Acai pill?

Posted by admin on December 1st, 2009 and filed under acai juice | 4 Comments »

Alrighty, so I’ve been hearing a lot about Acai and how if you take it with a colon cleanser, you’ll lose wait?
Anyway, I decided to go with the Acai juice instead of a pill. What would be more beneficial, juice or the pill itself?

Hello, Cassie. I think it is important to understand something about acai berries – it is just a fruit. It does indeed have a high amount of antioxidants, but a quick trip to the acai page on wikipedia will show you that it is not even the top in that region, either. For the most part, it is a scam in the sense of the companies making money off of false pretenses. Sure, you will hear about people losing weight eating/taking a lot of acai, but let me ask you a serious question.. would the result have been different if it was a lot of a different fruit? Personally, I don’t think so.

If you understand all of this and still want to have some acai, then approach it as any other fruit and enjoy yourself. However, I would stay away from the "free trials" being thrown around. You are almost guaranteed to get burned here, there are a lot of reports of people being charged for extra shipments they didn’t ask for.

I don’t think it is very productive to just shoot down someones question and not add anything constructive however, so I’d like to recommend some reading on a diet called calorie shifting. I have heard good things about it, but I’ll drop a link below and let you decide for yourself.

I hope that whichever path you end up taking that you do lose your unwanted weight, you will surely be a much happier person in the end for it.

Does acai juice really help lose weight?

Posted by admin on November 24th, 2009 and filed under acai juice | 3 Comments »

My mom brought home some acai juice from joblot the other day and i researched that it helps lose weight! and i’m kinda over weight, so is it true? if i drink this stuff daily will i lose some weight?

It will not make you lose weight. Acai berry juice is just like any other juice. Acai berries are marketed as being a magical weight loss people, but are nothing but a scam. Enjoy your juice, but know that the only way to lose weight permanently is healthy diet + exercise.
